Training & Academy
Building the Skills the Sector Needs
Practical, hands-on training programs for farmers, hatchery operators, extension workers, and aquaculture professionals — covering every link in the value chain.
Why Training Matters
Skills Gaps Are One of the Biggest Constraints in Southern African Aquaculture
Most aquaculture losses in the region — poor FCR, high mortality, disease outbreaks, low productivity — are preventable with the right knowledge. Our training programmes directly address this through practical, experience-based learning at our Kabiobio Hatchery demonstration facility.
Participants leave with immediately applicable skills, not just theory — supported by our free Farmer Planning Toolkit and ongoing extension support. Our work spans the full biological cycle — from broodstock selection and genetics through nutrition and feed optimisation, to water quality management, disease prevention, and hatchery system design.
