Kabiobio Hatchery is our working commercial facility and the operational heart of Tilapia Centre. It serves simultaneously as a commercial fingerling supplier, a live demonstration of world-class biosecure aquaculture practice, a training site for farmers and operators, and a technology validation platform for new systems and methods. Participants leave with immediately applicable skills, not just theory — supported by our free Farmer Planning Toolkit and ongoing extension support.
Our work spans the full biological cycle — from broodstock selection and genetics through nutrition and feed optimisation, to water quality management, disease prevention, and hatchery system design.
